WC U17: TUNISIA FINISHES 2ND AFTER ITS FAILURE AGAINST JAPAN

In the Under-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates, Tunisia faced Japan in a decisive match for supremacy in Group C. Tunisia initially took the lead with a goal from Mohaled Drager in the 45th minute. However, Japan staged a comeback in the last 5 minutes of the game, scoring two goals. Daisuke Sakai blocked Arfaoui in the 87th minute, and Ryoma Watanabe secured the winning goal in the final seconds of the match.

Despite the loss, Tunisia (6 points) maintained its second-place position in the group, securing qualification for the round of 16. Japan finished at the top of the group with 9 points. Tunisia is set to face Argentina in the next round, while Japan is likely to face Ivory Coast. In the other group match, Russia defeated Venezuela 4-0, earning 3 points and finishing in third place in the group.
