The head coach of Morocco’s national team, Walid Regragui, has selected PSG forward Ousmane Dembele as the best player in the world at the moment.
According to the Atlas Lions boss, the French-Mauritanian attacker has been extraordinary this season with his performances.
“I think Ousmane Dembele is the best in the world right now. His level is extraordinary with Paris Saint-Germain,” Walid Regragui told Spanish TV show “El Chiringuito.”
Ousmane Dembele has been in sensational form for PSG in the 2024/25 football season.
His exceptional performances have helped the Parisians to win the French Ligue 1 title.
In addition, PSG have also advanced to the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
Due to his outstanding performances, Ousmane Dembele has been tipped to win the 2025 Ballon d’Or. He, however, faces strong competition from Egyptian sensation Mohamed Salah.
To improve chances of winning the award, Dembele will need to help PSG clinch the UEFA Champions League at the end of the current football season.
