Sources close to the Moroccan national team have revealed to Kooora that Walid Regragui, the head coach of the Moroccan national team, has been in contact with his compatriot, Achraf Dari, a player for Royal Charleroi in Belgium.
The sources continued, “Regragui informed Achraf Dari that he will be part of the Atlas Lions’ squad for the upcoming matches against Zambia and Congo in June.”
Highlighting Dari’s performance with his Belgian club, the sources noted, “The call-up of Achraf Dari comes as a reward for the Moroccan player’s good performances with his Belgian team.”
“Regragui is extremely pleased with Achraf Dari’s performance, as he has excelled in defense and also managed to score against opponents,” they added.
It was further explained that Regragui included Achraf Dari in the squad for the March friendlies against Angola and Mauritania, although he did not play in either match.
Achraf Dari has been playing for Royal Charleroi on loan from Stade Brestois since the last winter transfer window.
