The President of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF), Waleed Sadji, has secured the position of Deputy President of the North African Football Union (UNAF), succeeding the Egyptian President, Gamal Allam.
The appointment sees Sadji stepping into his new role alongside Libyan counterpart Abdelhakim Al-Shalmani.
The decision was finalized during the assembly convened today at the UNAF headquarters in the Tunisian capital, Tunis.
The process unfolded in accordance with the resolutions of the Executive Committee meeting held on December 29, 2023, attended by representatives from the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The newly constituted bureau will preside over its duties for the term spanning from 2024 to 2027, signaling a fresh chapter in the administration of football affairs across North Africa.
