WAFU B U20 Boys Cup: Ghana claim bronze with 2-0 win over Niger in third-place match
Ghana’s U20 national team, the Black Satellites, have secured third place at the 2025 WAFU Zone B U20 Boys Cup after a dominant 2-0 victory over Niger in the third-place playoff.
The match was played on Tuesday afternoon at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, bringing the tournament closer to its conclusion after weeks of exciting youth football.
Hosted in Ghana, the competition began earlier this month at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
In their final appearance at the tournament, the Black Satellites put in a strong performance to see off their Nigerien counterparts, earning the bronze medal with a convincing win. The result ensured that Ghana ended the competition on a high note, much to the delight of the home crowd.
