WAFCON 2026: Ghana locks horns with Tanzania in pre-tournament friendly on July 20

Ghana’s Black Queens will continue their preparations for the 2026 TotalEnergies Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) when they face Tanzania in an international friendly in Casablanca on Monday, 20 July.

The match, scheduled to kick off at 18:00 local time, is expected to play a key role in Ghana’s final preparations for the continental showpiece, offering the coaching staff another opportunity to fine-tune the squad before the tournament begins.

Building momentum ahead of the tournament

The Black Queens head into the fixture after completing a first warm-up match against Ivory Coast and will be aiming to build confidence and maintain momentum as the countdown to WAFCON continues.
