Wadii Jari Elected President of North African Football Union (UNAF)
Wadii Jari, the long-serving president of the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) since March 2012, has been elected as the new president of the North African Football Union (UNAF). The election took place this Saturday and saw Jari emerge as the sole candidate following the withdrawal of Faouzi Lakjaa, president of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
With no opposition, Jari was elected unopposed to lead UNAF for a four-year term.
His election marks a significant step for regional cooperation in North African football and is expected to bring renewed momentum to UNAF’s initiatives in development, competitions, and governance across the region.
