Wadi Degla show strength with fourth straight win over Tala’ea El Gaish
Wadi Degla showed they are no longer outsiders in the Egyptian Premier League after collecting a fourth straight win, this time against Tala’ea El Gaish.
The Friday evening clash at Al-Salam Stadium in Cairo ended 1-0 for Degla, a result that keeps their momentum alive and lifts their spirits higher.
It was a tight contest where both teams worked hard to create chances, but the match was decided late. Ivorian striker Franck Boli finally made his mark for Degla, scoring in the 86th minute to seal victory. It was his first goal since joining the club at the start of the season, and it came at the perfect time.
Coach Mohamed El Sheikh’s men now have 13 points from seven matches, moving up to third place in the standings. The win adds to earlier triumphs against Zed, Zamalek, and Ismailia Electricity.
For Tala’ea El Gaish, led by coach Haitham Shaaban, it was another tough night. They remain stuck on 8 points, slipping to twelfth and recording their third defeat of the season.
