Niger and Nigeria have secured their spots in the upcoming continental volleyball finals set to take place in Morocco. The qualification for these finals was determined through the zone 3 qualifiers held in Niamey.
Niger earned its qualification by defeating Ghana on Sunday in a closely contested match, winning 3 sets to 2. Meanwhile, Nigeria, which was already qualified, secured victory against Burkina Faso with a convincing 3 sets to 0.
The competition, which involved four representatives from zone 3 – Niger, Burkina Faso, Ghana, and Nigeria, unfolded at the Academy of Arts in Niamey from October 25 to 27. With their successful performances, Niger and Nigeria will now progress to the continental phase of the volleyball competition.
