Roy Vitoria, the head coach of the Egyptian national team, emphasized the strength and greatness of his squad, citing their illustrious history in African tournaments.
He stated, “We play in tournaments to achieve titles and work hard in every match and competition.”
Speaking at the press conference before the match against Mozambique, which marks Egypt’s debut in the Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast 2023, Vitoria expressed readiness for the championship.
He acknowledged Mozambique as a good team but emphasized Egypt’s commitment to winning.
“The organization is excellent, and I would like to thank Ivory Coast and CAF for the warm welcome.
I congratulate them on the arrangements and hope for a fantastic tournament,” Vitoria concluded.
