Vinicius takes aim at Barcelona after Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory in El Clásico

Vinicius Junior appeared to mock Barcelona after Real Madrid secured a 2-1 victory over their rivals at Spotify Camp Nou, sharing three laughing emojis on his personal Instagram account.

The Brazilian forward missed the El Clásico through suspension but reacted to his team’s victory, which reduced Barcelona’s lead at the top of the Spanish league to three points.

According to the report, Vinicius watched the match from outside the stadium before posting his reaction following Real Madrid’s win.

Mbappe Seals Real Madrid Victory

Real Madrid claimed the three points after Kylian Mbappe scored a decisive goal in the 87th minute.

The visitors had taken the lead in the first half before Rafinha equalised for Barcelona in the 61st minute. Mbappe’s late strike ultimately settled the contest in Real Madrid’s favour.

The victory provided Real Madrid with a significant boost, while Barcelona suffered their second defeat in a week after losing to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

Vinicius Faces Competition for Starting Role

Vinicius is serving a four-match suspension following his aggressive behaviour towards Nathan Saliba during Real Madrid’s match against Villarreal on Saturday, October 10.

The Brazilian has two more matches of his suspension to serve before becoming available again.

Meanwhile, Jan Diomandi’s reported performances have raised questions about competition for the winger position and Vinicius’ role upon his return.

The report also raises the possibility of coach Jose Mourinho restoring Vinicius to the starting line-up or using him as a substitute to influence matches.
