Vinicius Junior hails Real Madrid spirit after tough Celta Vigo victory

Vinicius Junior reflected on Real Madrid’s narrow win over Celta Vigo by emphasizing just how demanding the night was for a depleted side.

With several key players missing through injuries and suspensions, the Brazilian explained that the team had to battle from start to finish to secure three crucial La Liga points.

“It was a very difficult match in which we were missing many players, but we came here to win. We worked hard, suffered quite a bit, and in the end were able to win, which was the most important thing to gain confidence for Wednesday’s match,” he said. Vinicius also made sure to highlight the role of Real Madrid’s youngsters and squad players, who stepped up when called upon.

“We also have to thank the youth team players who came on to help out, as well as all the players who were called up, because we knew it was going to be a very difficult match, with many players injured and others suspended,” he added.
