Vinicius Jr’s partner announces deaths of security guard and wife after Brazil crash

Brazilian influencer Virginia Fonseca, the partner of Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr, has announced the deaths of her personal security guard, Rogerio Camilo Ramos, and his wife, Paula Regina Rodarte Camilo, following a road accident in Brazil.

Fonseca said she was devastated by the deaths and had delayed releasing the news until all members of the family had been informed.

According to Rota Verde Goias, the crash took place on a highway in the Ribeirao da Posse area, in the municipality of Guapo, within the Goiania metropolitan region.

An emergency services doctor confirmed that Rogerio Camilo, who had been riding the motorcycle, died at the scene. Paula Regina was found in cardiopulmonary arrest and firefighters attempted to resuscitate her, but she later died.

Fonseca had attended events surrounding the Spanish Grand Prix at the Madring circuit just hours before sharing the news on Instagram.

In her post, she wrote: “I have just received the news of the death of Camilo, our personal security guard, and his wife. I did not post anything before because we were waiting for every member of the family to be informed, but since I received the news I have not been able to do anything else. My heart is broken.”

She also paid tribute to Camilo, thanking him for his role in protecting her family.

“We will be eternally grateful for all the care, protection, wisdom, purity and great love that you always devoted to our family,” she said. “Your presence was a safe haven, and your memory will remain in our hearts forever.”

Fonseca added that she regarded Camilo and Paula as protectors of her daughter, Heloisa. She said the family would remain by her side and surround her with care and love.

She also offered her condolences to the relatives of both victims and wished them patience and comfort as they mourned the deaths.
