Vinicius Jr. is making a bold move off the pitch, demanding €25 million net per season to extend his Real Madrid contract.

According to Cadena SER, the Brazilian winger has told the club there will be no deal unless his new terms are met.

Currently tied to the club until 2027 and earning around €15 million annually, Vinicius feels he’s earned a significant raise. He isn’t swayed by squad politics or comparisons, not even with incoming star Kylian Mbappe. If Madrid agrees, Vinicius will become the highest-paid player at the club.

Talks have reportedly hit a wall. Madrid is reluctant to break its strict wage structure designed to maintain harmony within the squad. While Saudi clubs have shown interest, Vinicius has turned down all offers, expressing his desire to stay.

Insiders believe club president Florentino Perez may personally step in once Vinicius returns from holiday this August.

For now, the forward’s upcoming season will play a crucial role in shaping his future at the Santiago Bernabeu, either as their top earner or a valuable parting asset.
