Vinicius Jr. is entering a make-or-break season at Real Madrid, where his future now hangs on how he performs.
Once considered untouchable, the Brazilian winger is under growing pressure to prove he deserves both his place in the squad and the massive new contract he’s seeking.
Julio Pulido of El Larguero reports that the club could part ways with Vinicius if he remains inconsistent.
“This is a season in which Vinícius has a lot at stake for his contract renewal,” Pulido says. “A second season with this kind of noise. I don’t think it will help the multi-million dollar renewal he wants. Nor to maintaining that affection that until now was unbreakable with the fans.”
Vinicius reportedly wants to earn as much as Kylian Mbappe, plus a significant signing bonus. But while Madrid acknowledges his injury setbacks, patience is wearing thin.
With stars like Mbappe now in the spotlight, Vinicius must rise or risk losing it all. Next season could define his legacy, or mark the end of his Bernabéu story.
