Equatorial Guinea head coach Vincenzo Alberto Annese has finalised his technical and medical team as the Nzalang Nacional prepare for their upcoming international assignments.
Annese has assembled a group of professionals with experience across European and international football, with the new structure expected to strengthen the national team’s preparation, physical conditioning, tactical analysis and player welfare.
Alberto Lungherini has been appointed fitness coach. He brings experience from clubs including Spezia, Persija Jakarta and Paradou AC and will oversee the team’s physical preparation, injury prevention and recovery programmes.
Emiliano Betti will serve as goalkeeper coach. His previous experience includes spells with AC Milan, Fiorentina, Empoli and Carrarese, and he will be responsible for developing the technical performance of the Nzalang Nacional goalkeepers.
The coaching staff will also feature Andrea Lagna as match analyst. Trained at Coverciano and currently working with Empoli Primavera, Lagna will focus on tactical analysis, opponent scouting and strategic preparation through video and data.

The medical department will be headed by Dr Valdo Cesareo as team doctor, while Daniele Misseri and Marco Sabatini join as physiotherapy specialists. Misseri has worked with Fiorentina, Lazio and Empoli, while Sabatini has experience with Arezzo, Montevarchi and Sangiovannese.
Casto Nopo Abesó will complete the coaching structure as assistant coach, bringing experience from domestic football.
The appointments underline Annese’s plans to establish a well-structured support team around the Nzalang Nacional as Equatorial Guinea prepares for its next international challenges.
