Viktor Gyokeres wants January Arsenal exit after limited Premier League role

Viktor Gyokeres wants to leave Arsenal in January because of his lack of playing time, according to a report by Sports Mole.

The Sweden striker has played only 59 minutes in the Premier League this season and has fallen out of Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta’s plans.

Arteta has opted to use other players in attack, leaving Gyokeres frustrated by his limited involvement since joining the club.

Gyokeres moved to Arsenal from Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon for £64m. The striker made 36 Premier League appearances for Arsenal last season, scoring 14 goals.

Arsenal are the Premier League champions.
