Thousands of Senegalese supporters joined players of the national team and their technical staff on Tuesday to celebrate the country’s Africa Cup of Nations triumph following their victory over Morocco.
According to the Senegalese News Agency, the champions’ procession moved through the streets of Dakar amid scenes of widespread jubilation, with fans turning out in their numbers to relive moments reminiscent of the national team’s historic campaigns in 2002 and 2022.
The celebratory atmosphere reflected the deep connection between the players and the public, as chants, music and national colours filled the capital.

The parade reached the Bat Doué district of Dakar, where the team was welcomed by an ecstatic crowd that accompanied the players for the remainder of the journey.
Senegal captain Sadio Mané was seen presenting the trophy to the fans, a gesture that symbolised the collective nature of the achievement and capped off a memorable day of celebration for the reigning African champions.
