Victor Osimhen: Tottenham linked with Galatasaray striker

Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian striker at Galatasaray, is being linked with a move to Tottenham from the Turkish champions.

The 27-year-old centre-forward joined Galatasaray permanently from Napoli on 31 July 2025 in a deal worth €75m. He has a contract with the Istanbul club until 30 June 2029, meaning Tottenham would likely have to make a significant offer to prise him away.

Osimhen has established himself as one of Galatasaray’s leading attacking players and helped the club win the Turkish title in 2025-26. He was also named Turkish Footballer of the Year in 2025, while his Super Lig record stands at 41 goals in 52 appearances.

The Nigeria international previously spent four seasons at Napoli, where he scored 65 goals in 108 Serie A appearances and won the Italian title in 2022-23. His time in Italy followed spells with Lille, Charleroi and Wolfsburg.

Osimhen’s current market value is listed at €75m, matching the fee Galatasaray paid for him last summer. The reported interest from Tottenham comes with the striker tied to Galatasaray for three more seasons, and the move remains a rumour rather than a confirmed transfer.
