Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly been offered to German giants Bayern Munich, according to reports from Germany.
Munich-based newspaper tz claims that the Galatasaray forward was recently proposed to FC Bayern Munich through an English intermediary, with the Turkish club keen to generate revenue from a potential transfer. Osimhen, who is under contract with Galatasaray until 2029, is currently valued at €75 million.
The 27-year-old has been with Galatasaray since the summer of 2024, but the report suggests he would be open to a return to Bayern Munich, a club he reportedly admires greatly. Despite this apparent interest, Bayern are not convinced that a move is necessary at this stage.
According to a source, Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl made it clear during the most recent contact with Osimhen’s representatives that the club currently has no need for the striker. The situation, the report adds, would only change if Harry Kane were to leave Bayern in the summer of 2026, a scenario that appears unlikely at present.
While Osimhen is not considered a priority, Bayern are still said to be exploring options for a dependable backup to Kane. However, the club is not expected to make the loan move of Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea permanent.
Instead, sources report that Franculino Dju of FC Midtjylland and Fisnik Asllani of TSG Hoffenheim remain on Bayern’s shortlist.
