Victor Mbaoma: Tusker FC sign Nigerian striker from Remo Stars in permanent deal
Tusker FC have signed Nigerian centre-forward Victor Mbaoma from Remo Stars in a permanent transfer completed on 7 July 2026. The 29-year-old moves to the Kenyan club with a current market value of 250,000, although the fee involved in the deal has not been disclosed.
Mbaoma, born in Lagos on 20 October 1996, joins Tusker as an experienced attacking option, standing at 1.84m and operating primarily as a central striker with a right-footed profile. His arrival strengthens the Kenyan sides forward line with a player who has built up considerable experience across multiple African and Asian leagues.
The move comes after Mbaomas latest spell with Remo Stars, where his market valuation rose to 250,000 in June 2026, reflecting an upward trend from his time in Uzbekistan with FC Qizilqum, where his value climbed from 150,000 to 200,000 in 2023. That period was followed by a switch to Rwanda with APR FC Kigali later the same year.
Before returning to Nigeria with Remo Stars in 2025, Mbaoma had already established himself domestically with Enyimba Aba, having joined the Aba club from Remo Stars in 2019. His time at Enyimba was preceded by loan experience at Akwa United and a brief spell in Europe with FK Teplice B in the Czech Republic, adding an international dimension to his development.
Mbaomas early senior career was rooted at Remo Stars from 2016, and his latest move to Tusker FC marks the continuation of a career that has taken him through Nigeria, Algeria, Uzbekistan, Rwanda and now Kenya.
