New Cheltenham Town signing, Valentino Adedokun has shared his delight after signing for the club.
Speaking in his first interview, the Irish-Nigerian defender said he wants to be a player that the manager can rely on at all times.
“It feels great to be here. I’ve always wanted to play first-team football, I think it’s something I really need to take the next step in my career.
“I want to play as much as I can and be available as much as I can. I want to be someone the manager can rely on and help the team push forward,” Valentino Adedokun.
The young defender has signed for Cheltenham Town on loan from Premier League side Brentford for the remainder of the 2024/25 football season.
Adedokun, who has spent part of the season on loan in Hungary with Diosgyori VTK, joins his Brentford academy teammate, striker Ashley Hay, at Cheltenham.
The addition of Adedokun strengthens Cheltenham’s defensive options as the club seeks to improve its performance in League Two.
