Valencia has bolstered its attacking lineup with the acquisition of Nigerian forward Umar Sadiq.
The LaLiga club confirmed his arrival on a loan deal from Real Sociedad, with an option to purchase at the end of the season.
“Valencia CF has reached an agreement with Real Sociedad for the signing of Sadiq Umar until June 30, 2025. The Nigerian international striker arrives on loan until the end of this season and Valencia CF will have an option to purchase at the end of the same,” the club’s official statement detailed.
Sadiq, 27, is renowned for his prolific stint at UD Almería, where he netted 43 goals and provided 13 assists in 84 appearances, spearheading their promotion to LaLiga in the 2021-2022 campaign. Beyond Spain, his résumé includes spells at clubs like Partizan Belgrade, Perugia, Rangers, Torino, and Roma, showcasing his versatility across Europe.
