Utrecht weigh move for Norrkoping’s Tunisia-Sweden right-back Moutaz Neffati
Tunisia-Sweden right-back Moutaz Neffati is the subject of a rumoured move from Swedish club Norrkoping to Dutch side Utrecht.
The 21-year-old defender has been linked with a switch from the Superettan to the Eredivisie, although no transfer fee or agreement has been reported. Neffati’s current market value is listed at €1.2m.
Neffati has made 14 appearances for Norrkoping in the 2026 Superettan season, scoring two goals and providing one assist. He has also made one appearance in the Svenska Cupen this campaign.
Born in Norrkoping, Neffati joined the club’s senior set-up from Norrkoping’s under-19 side in June 2022. He spent periods on loan with Swedish club IF Sylvia and Icelandic side KR Reykjavik before returning to Norrkoping in July 2024.
The right-back remains under contract with Norrkoping until 31 December 2028. He has not appeared for Tunisia or Sweden at the 2026 World Cup, according to his current competition record, and his senior international representation is not specified.
Any move to Utrecht would place Neffati at a club competing in the Netherlands’ top division, while he currently plays in Sweden’s second tier. For now, the reported interest remains unconfirmed, with Neffati contracted to Norrkoping through 2028.
