USM Alger have reached an agreement in principle to appoint experienced Senegalese tactician Lamine Ndiaye as their new head coach.
Ndiaye has been without a club since parting ways with TP Mazembe at the end of January 2026, bringing an end to another chapter of his long association with the Congolese giants.
However, the 69-year-old is now poised to take on a new challenge in the Algerian Ligue 1, where USM Alger are currently enduring an inconsistent campaign and sit ninth in the league standings.
