Usain Bolt Shows Little Interest in French Football Championship
Paris — Sprinting legend Usain Bolt has made it clear that the French football championship does not capture his attention.
The Jamaican, currently in Paris for a marketing campaign, was recently asked by Le Parisien about his knowledge of Ligue 1 and the reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Bolt responded candidly, stating, “I’m not interested in the French championship.”
When questioned about PSG specifically, Bolt’s reaction remained playful yet indifferent. “PSG, is that Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s club? Oh, OK, that’s good for them,” he remarked with a lighthearted tone.
Bolt’s comments highlight the limited global reach of the French league among some international sports stars, despite PSG’s rising prominence and high-profile signings.
As Bolt focuses on his athletic career and commercial ventures, it seems Ligue 1 remains outside his sphere of interest.
