US Orleans sign French-Algerian midfielder Belkacem Dali-Amar from SM Caen
French-Algerian attacking midfielder Belkacem Dali-Amar has joined US Orleans from SM Caen on a free transfer, completing a move between two Ligue 3 clubs.
Dali-Amar, 28, began his Orleans contract on 10 August 2026 and has agreed terms through to 30 June 2027. The move brings the experienced midfielder to a club in the same division as his former side, with Orleans securing his services without a transfer fee.
Born in Martigues, France, Dali-Amar represents both French and Algerian football backgrounds. He stands at 1.80m and is listed as an attacking midfielder, giving Orleans a player whose principal role is in the centre of the pitch behind the forward line.
The midfielder is comfortable using either foot, an attribute reflected in his listed preference as “both”. His arrival provides Orleans with an attacking option capable of operating centrally, while his previous experience at Caen offers continuity within the French league structure.
Dali-Amar’s switch follows his time with SM Caen, who compete alongside Orleans in Ligue 3. The move therefore does not involve a change of country or division, but represents a fresh chapter for the player after leaving Caen on the expiry of his previous arrangement.
Orleans have registered the 28-year-old as part of their squad for the 2026-27 campaign. His contract is scheduled to remain in place for the remainder of the season and concludes at the end of June 2027.
Dali-Amar has completed his free transfer from SM Caen to US Orleans on a contract running until 30 June 2027.
