In a statement released earlier today, the FRMF confirmed the appointment of Bouchaib Lahrach as the new Chairman of the Central Refereeing Committee.
This move is part of a broader restructuring effort within the federation’s refereeing body.
The statement read: “As part of the restructuring of the national football refereeing body, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has appointed Bouchaib Lahrach as Chairman of the Central Refereeing Committee and Redouane Jiyed as Director of the National Refereeing Directorate.”
These appointments are expected to bring fresh perspectives and a higher standard of officiating to Moroccan football.
Bouchaib Lahrach, known for his extensive experience and commitment to fair play, is anticipated to lead the committee with a focus on enhancing the training and performance of referees across all levels of competition.
Redouane Jiyed, who has been appointed as the Director of the National Refereeing Directorate, is a respected figure in Moroccan football.
His new role will involve overseeing the overall management of refereeing activities, ensuring that the standards of officiating are consistent and that referees are well-prepared for their duties.
