Urgent: Moroccan football federation overhauls refereeing system

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has announced significant changes to its refereeing administration, aiming to improve the management and performance of officials at the highest level.

In a statement released earlier today, the FRMF confirmed the appointment of Bouchaib Lahrach as the new Chairman of the Central Refereeing Committee.

This move is part of a broader restructuring effort within the federation’s refereeing body.

The statement read: “As part of the restructuring of the national football refereeing body, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation has appointed Bouchaib Lahrach as Chairman of the Central Refereeing Committee and Redouane Jiyed as Director of the National Refereeing Directorate.”
