Nelson Vivas, the former coach of the Quilmes football team in Argentina’s first division, resigned after an altercation with a fan. The incident occurred after a home draw against Atletico Rafaela. Unable to tolerate insults from the supporter, Vivas confronted and physically assaulted him in the stands. Following the incident, Vivas acknowledged his actions, stating that he is not a violent person, but he realized that such behavior was not befitting of a coach. Subsequently, he decided to resign from his coaching position, leaving Quilmes in the 16th position in the league standings.
