Egyptian forward, Omar Marmoush scored twice to inspire Eintracht Frankfurt to a dominant 4-0 victory against Heidenheim in the German Bundesliga on Sunday evening.
Marmoush opened the scoring in the first half, capitalizing on a precise through ball from Nathaniel Brown to calmly finish at the near post.
The forward nearly doubled his tally moments later with a daring outside-foot shot but missed the target.
After halftime, substitute Farès Chaïbi made an immediate impact, slotting in Frankfurt’s second goal from the edge of the box. Marmoush then sealed his brace with a composed finish, using his speed to outpace the defense and score his 17th goal in 19 appearances this season.
Despite missing chances for a hat-trick, Marmoush’s efforts left Heidenheim overwhelmed. In stoppage time, Hugo Ekitike added a fourth goal to complete Frankfurt’s seventh consecutive win.
While Frankfurt’s strong form continues, Heidenheim remains winless in seven league matches, deep in the relegation zone.
Omar Marmoush’s stellar performance further cements his role as a key player for Frankfurt this season. He is reportedly a transfer target of several elite clubs in Europe.
