Kaizer Chiefs defender Aiden McCarthy has emerged as a transfer target for an unnamed Dutch Eredivisie outfit in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Two weeks to the commencement of the 2025/26 football campaign, the Amakhosi, who are bent on making impact face a real threat of losing promising centre-back.

The unnamed Dutch outfit has already inquired about the availability of the 21-year-old rock-solid defender, who is a priority target for a host of clubs.

Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi is categorically against the proposed transfer of the dependable. The Tunisian gaffer is counting on McCarthy for the upcoming football season in an attempt to make a meaningful impact.

The gaffer intend to deploy two young defenders (Aiden McCarthy and Rushwin Dortley) at the heart of the defence for the 2025/26 season.

McCarthy, who joined Kaizer Chiefs in 2022 has a value estimated at €50,000.
