Uncertainty surround Orlando Pirates midfielder Relebohile Mofokeng’s injury return

South African outfit Orlando Pirates have provided an injury update on enterprising attacker Relebohile Mofokeng.

The South African international missed the sides CAF champions League playoff clash against DR Congo outfit, Saint-Eloi Lupopo at the weekend.

In his absence, Orlando Pirates surprisingly succumbed to an emphatic 3-0 away defeat to their opponent, undermining their chances of making it to the next stage of the Champions League.

The attacker has been missing for the Sea Robbers and his absence is seen by the club’s lack of creativity in matches.

Ahead of the Polokwane City clash on Wednesday, Orlando Pirates have provided an injury update, refusing to disclose Mofokeng’s injury return date.

“They could still be without attacking midfielder Relebohile Mofokeng, who sat out the trip to West Africa, along with the likes of Deano van Rooyen and Tapelo Xoki who have both been on the sidelines over the past few weeks,” Pirates stated on the club’s official website.

Orlando Pirates will take on Saint-Eloi Lupopo in the return clash of the CAF Champions League this weekend after the Polokwane City on Wednesday.
