Uganda name squad for 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Botswana

Uganda head coach Paul Put has announced his squad for the November international window, with the Cranes set to face Botswana twice in their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.

Uganda will host the first match on 14 November 2026 before travelling to Botswana for the return fixture on 17 November 2026. The two matches are viewed as important to Uganda’s hopes of progressing through the qualifiers.

Belgian coach Put has selected a 27-player group combining established internationals and younger players. The squad includes footballers based in Uganda, elsewhere in Africa, and across Europe and the Americas.
