Uganda international goalkeeper Salim Magoola has joined Betway Premiership rivals Durban City on a free transfer after leaving Richards Bay FC.
Durban City confirmed the signing of the 30-year-old, who will strengthen their goalkeeping options for the remainder of the campaign.
“Durban City FC is pleased to announce the signing of Ugandan international goalkeeper, Salim Magoola,” the club said.
“A new chapter begins in Blue & White. Welcome to the Citizens family, Magoola.”
Magoola will compete for the starting place with Frederick Asare and Aden Dryer.
Asare has been Durban City’s first-choice goalkeeper this season, following the departure of Darren Keet, who retired at the end of last season.
The move gives Magoola a new opportunity in the Betway Premiership after his spell with Richards Bay FC came to an end.
