The Togolese delegation participating in the UFOA tournament is set to depart from Lomé on Tuesday. The Sparrowhawks are en route to Ghana to defend the title they won in 2011 in Nigeria.

Although the list of local players has not been disclosed, the Togo selection continues to be led by Tchanilé Tchakala, the coach who holds the trophy.

Togo has been drawn into Group B, with matches scheduled to be held at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi and the Paa Joe Stadium at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

In the recent UEMOA tournament in Ivory Coast, Togo had a disappointing performance, finishing last in its group after earning just one point in three matches.
