UFOA-B U17: Togo and Burkina Faso meet with first win at stake

Togo and Burkina Faso will meet on Tuesday in the second round of the UFOA-B U17 tournament, with both sides seeking their first victory. The match will be played at the 4-Aout Stadium in Ouagadougou, with kick-off scheduled for 19:00 GMT.

Togo must respond after beginning their campaign with a 1-0 defeat by Ghana last Saturday. The result leaves the young Togolese side needing points to remain in contention in the competition.

Burkina Faso also failed to win their opening fixture, drawing 0-0 with Benin. Playing in front of their home supporters, the Burkina Faso U17 team will be aiming to turn their second match into a victory.

Togo, however, will arrive with the same objective and will not make it easy for their hosts. The meeting could prove significant for both teams’ prospects in the tournament and their hopes of reaching the next stage.
