UFOA B U17 Cup: Ghana set to host exciting youth football showdown

The highly anticipated UFOA B U17 tournament is on the horizon, with Ghana gearing up to host a thrilling display of youth football talent. Scheduled to commence on May 15, 2024, in the vibrant Ghanaian capital, Accra, the tournament will kick off with the host nation, Ghana’s Black Starlets, taking on Ivory Coast in the opening match at 4 p.m. GMT.

Meanwhile, the Benin U17 selection, known as Guépards, will enjoy a well-deserved rest as Group A comprises only three teams.

Group B promises an equally exciting start, with two captivating matches slated for the opening day on May 16, 2024. Burkina Faso and Nigeria will clash first at 3 p.m. GMT, followed by a showdown between Togo and Niger at 5 p.m. GMT.

Notably, all matches in the initial round of the competition will be held at the University Stadium, with the exception of the Nigeria versus Togo encounter, which is scheduled for the third matchday at the Accra Grand Stadium.
