UFOA A U17: Senegal and Guinea name semi-final line-ups

Senegal and Guinea have confirmed their starting XIs for the first semi-final of the UFOA A U17 tournament, with a place in the final and qualification for the CAN U17 at stake.

Senegal have made few changes to the side selected for the match. Captain and goalkeeper Assane Sarr starts as they look to record another clean sheet, while Mahamet Ba and Souleymane Commissaire Faye will be tasked with controlling the tempo in midfield.

Guinea will be led by captain Alpha Camara as they attempt to withstand Senegal’s challenge and cause an upset against the tournament’s host nation. Victory would send Guinea into the final and secure access to the continental stage.

Oumar Konate starts in goal for Guinea, while Boubacar Diallo and Salif Camara will lead the attacking threat against the Senegal defence and goalkeeper Assane Sarr.
