France forward of Malian descent, Ousmane Dembele, has indicated that he is fine after concerns about injury during the UEFA Champions League semi-final first-leg encounter between Arsenal and PSG on Tuesday.
The in-form attacker was in action for the Parisians yesterday, scoring the only goal of the match to give the French Ligue 1 side a narrow win to take back to Paris.
Unfortunately, Dembele picked up a knock in the 70th minute and had to be substituted.
After the match, his manager Luis Enrique noted that PSG would have to run tests to determine the extent of Dembele’s injury.
“It isn’t anything serious, it’s quite a small thing but there is a doubt for the return leg,” said the PSG manager.
However, the forward on his way to the team bus after the match provided some relief for the fans.
He said although he felt some pain, he will be fine for the second leg clash against Arsenal.
“I felt a little something but it’s okay. It’ll be fine,” Dembele said.
The second leg encounter between PSG and Arsenal will be played on Wednesday, May 7.
