UCL: On loan Kolo Muani eligible to play for Tottenham against parent club PSG

Tottenham Hotspur will have Randal Kolo Muani available for their UEFA Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain this week, despite the French forward currently being on loan from the Ligue 1 champions.

French outlet L’Équipe reports that no clause in the 26-year-old’s loan agreement prevents him from lining up against his parent club. UEFA regulations also forbid any restriction that would block a player from featuring against a side they are registered with, provided both teams are competing in European tournaments.

This makes Kolo Muani fully eligible for Wednesday night’s encounter with Les Parisiens.

The French forward of Congolese descent joined Spurs on loan from PSG on the final day of the summer transfer window and has since made ten appearances for the North London club.

After suffering an injury in the match against Manchester United, he recently returned to action, coming off the bench during Tottenham’s 4-1 loss to Arsenal.

Wednesday’s showdown between PSG and Tottenham Hotspur is scheduled to kick off at 8 pm at Parc des Princes.
