Spanish defender of Guinea-Bissau descent Alejandro Balde is expected to fully recover from injury before Barcelona’s trip to Italy for their clash against Inter Milan next week.
The Spanish giants will be hoping to defeat Inter Milan away from home to advance to the final of this season’s UEFA Champions League.
The first leg of the semi-final clash was played on Wednesday night with Inter Milan holding Barcelona to a 3-3 draw at the end of the contest.
On the matchday, Alejandro Balde was not part of the Barcelona squad due to an injury.
The left-back who has been recovering from a hamstring injury he picked up last month against Leganes in the Spanish La Liga is expected to fully recover this weekend.
Reports in the Spanish media indicate that Balde could be cleared by the Barcelona medical staff on Friday.
It means the defender will be available next week when Barcelona takes on Inter Milan in the decisive semi-final clash.
