Ghana’s Under-20 national football team, known as the Black Satellites, has advanced to the quarter-finals of the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey by defeating Portugal 3-2. Despite losing to France and Spain in the group stage, Ghana’s victory over Portugal secured their spot in the knockout stage. The Black Satellites, who won the U-20 World Cup in 2009, will face Chile in the quarter-finals. Coach Sellas Tetteh, who led Ghana to victory in 2009, is looking to secure another title for his team. Ghana has previously reached the quarter-finals and semi-finals in past U-20 World Cup editions.
