Ghana’s U20 women’s national team, the Black Princesses, have successfully advanced to the third and final round of World Cup qualifiers. They secured their spot by defeating Equatorial Guinea 2-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, adding to their 1-0 first-leg victory.
Next up, Lis, Veronica Appiah, and the rest of the team will face the winner of the Ethiopia vs. Burkina Faso tie for a place in the final qualifying round. Meanwhile, Nigeria and South Africa will compete for the other qualifying spot.
These decisive matches are scheduled for October 23–25, 2015.
