Versatile Ghanaian defender Emmanuel Mensah has been named Man of the Match after his heroics for the Ghana U20 national team in their 1-0 win against Senegal in the 2025 CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
The forward played as a full-back against the defending champions on Monday night, lasting the entire duration of the contest.
He scored the only goal of the match in the 15th minute, after he was set up by striker Jerry Afriyie.
For his outstanding performance for the Black Satellites to ensure they bagged all three points, Emmanuel Mensah has been named Man of the Match.

The win has improved Ghana’s chances of qualifying for the knockout stage of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Black Satellites are second in Group C with four points, behind DR Congo on same points but superior goal difference.
Senegal follows in third while the Central African Republic sits bottom of the table.
Ghana must now prepare for their final Group C game against the Central African Republic.
