Morocco head coach, Mohamed Wahbi, has admitted that it will not be easy to overcome South Africa.
The two sides will clash in the final of the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament at the Cairo International Stadium on Sunday, May 18, with kick-off scheduled at 18:00 GMT.
South Africa overcame Nigeria before Morocco stunned Egypt to set up the much-anticipated final.
“The happiness I feel is the same as the happiness the players and Moroccan fans feel, following the efforts and sacrifices we have made. But everything becomes easier when you achieve success and the goals you set for yourself,” Wahbi said after the win over the Young Pharaohs.
“The most important match has not yet been played, and that is the final (against South Africa). I believe the final did justice to the best team in the tournament.
“We respect the South African team a lot, but we must rest after our celebrations and develop the appropriate plan for a fierce competitor with great quality, who will never be easy to defeat,” he added.
