**South Africa’s U17 Squad for the 2015 U17 World Cup in Chile**
South Africa has unveiled its final squad for the upcoming **FIFA U17 World Cup** in **Chile**, which will take place from **October 17 to November 8, 2015**. The squad, known as the **Amajimbos**, is made up of promising young players from the country’s top football academies.
The team will depart for **Chile** on **Tuesday**, ahead of their first game in the tournament. Before the competition starts, South Africa will have a final training camp in South America, which includes friendly matches against **Brazil** (October 4), **Chile** (October 7), and **New Zealand** (October 12).
**Group E** in the tournament will feature South Africa alongside **Costa Rica**, **North Korea**, and **Russia**. In total, four African teams will compete: South Africa, **Guinea**, **Mali**, and **defending champions Nigeria**.
