The Women’s World Cup, cadet category, is set to kick off on March 15 in Costa Rica, featuring representation from three African countries: Nigeria, Ghana, and Zambia, all vying for the prestigious world trophy, which Africa has yet to claim.
While Nigeria and Ghana are seasoned participants in the competition, Zambia will be making its debut appearance. The Chipolopolo girls are scheduled to face Italy in the tournament opener, followed by matches against Venezuela on the 18th and the host country on the 22nd in Group A.
Ghana finds itself in Group B and will commence its campaign on March 15 against North Korea. The Black Princesses will then take on Germany on the 18th and Canada on the 22nd.
Nigeria’s opening match is scheduled for March 16 against China, followed by encounters with Colombia on the 19th and Mexico on the 23rd in Group D.
