France-born forward of Algerian descent, Yacine Adli, is expected to leave AC Milan this summer and is reportedly on his way to France.
It is understood that two clubs in the French Ligue 1 are interested in securing the services of the midfielder in the final days of the summer transfer window.
With the summer window quickly approaching its conclusion, AC Milan’s management is working around the clock to finalise moves for several surplus players.
Among those on the exit list is Adli, who returned to Milan after a loan spell at Fiorentina last season but has not been included in the current project.
Left out of the squad and excluded from the pre-season tour, the player has been seeking a new destination since the start of the summer.
According to journalist and transfer market expert Nicolò Schira, the breakthrough could come from Ligue 1, where two French sides, whose names remain undisclosed, have expressed interest in the 25-year-old.
Adli’s contract with Milan runs until 2026, meaning the Rossoneri would prefer a permanent transfer unless they first extend his deal, which would then make another loan move possible.
During his time at Fiorentina last season, Adli made 35 appearances across competitions, scoring five goals and providing seven assists in 1,653 minutes of action.
He is understood to be open to the move to France this summer.
