Didier Zokora has officially parted ways with the Turkish club Trabzonspor after terminating his contract by mutual agreement. The Ivorian defender, who joined Trabzonspor in June 2011 from Sevilla FC, is now a free agent. Zokora, who still harbors hopes of representing Ivory Coast in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, has had his departure confirmed by the club’s official website. Trabzonspor expressed their well wishes for Zokora, emphasizing his desire to participate in the World Cup as “the wish of his life.”
