Aatif Chahechouhe is enjoying a remarkable season in Turkey. The Moroccan international striker has emerged as the leading goal scorer in the Turkish championship, surpassing renowned players such as Didier Drogba, Emmanuel Emenike, and Moussa Sow. In comments reported by the Turkish press, Chahechouhe expressed his satisfaction with both his playing and living conditions.
Despite his success, Chahechouhe clarified that he has not been approached by Olympique Marseille. He recently extended his contract with Sivasspor and emphasized his contentment with the club. He stated, “My goal as a player is to represent a top-tier team. Money is not my primary concern; otherwise, I would have moved to Qatar three months ago. Despite receiving a lucrative offer, I declined.”
Chahechouhe recently earned his first call-up to the Moroccan national team, the Atlas Lions, participating in FIFA Day on March 5.
